Please reblog this if you like it. It would mean a lot. Thank you!
The winds soothing breeze on this winter morn’
Flowing through her flawless brunette hair.
Reminding me of the luck I was given,
But I don’t forget the first day.
I remember seeing her lively dancing down the hall
Catching my eye with every turn.
She had the courage to make a move
To walk down and speak with me, a fool.
I was rushed with nerves, but all was good.
The gentle smile, the glimmer in her eye
I knew something was there.
Time came short though and I had to leave.
I took a risk and requested a hug
And luck be my lady I got it.
Her fragrance was enchanting
Tickling my nose.
As I left I made one regret, the biggest regret
I forgot to ask her name.
With luck still on my side the young lady left a note
Within the note had her name starting this all.
Not a day that goes by without my thanks
For if it wasn’t for her courage then this would be nothing.
Courage is the ultimate tool in this world
It truly can change not only one, but two lives.
